The Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers

Chippenham branch occupies the area north and west of the town up to and including the towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury with its fine abbey. South lies the Bath and Wells DA. Clockwise from the west are the branches of Bristol Rural, Wotton-under-Edge, Stroud, Cirencester and Swindon. Unusually the town possesses two churches, both with eight bells; the picture is of St Andrew's. The branch also includes the National Trust village of Lacock, home of William Fox-Talbot, generally credited with taking the first photograph. Fitting for a village reputed to be the most photographed in Britain!
