The Bliss Trophy

The Achievement of the Year competition seeks to recognise achievement by a group during the year. It can be a person, a tower, a group of towers or indeed a branch. Each branch may enter more than once, producing a presentation of up to 500 words on the chosen theme; which may include web links but not pictures. The competition is normally decided by votes at the annual Branch Officers' Meeting in February or March. The winner is presented with the Bliss Trophy and the runner up with the Littldean and Purton Trophy at the Association AGM the following April. All entries are published on this website. 2024 Competition

The theme was 'Anything that has happened in your branch which is worthy of recognition throughout the Association'. The winners were Cheltenham Branch and the runners up Pebworth tower.

2023 Competition

The theme was 'What Works in your Tower / Branch'. The winners were Tewkesbury branch and the runners up were Gloucester branch.

2022 Competition

The theme was 'During and After Covid; Keeping Ringing Going'. The winners were Abson and Frenchay and the runner-up was The Swindon Ringing Centre.
