The Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers

Results of the Best Kept Tower competition. This competition is not longer contested by resolution of the 2010 AGM. It was replaced by the Tower of the Year competition.

Prior to 2005 there was a single competition category and the only trophy awarded was the Bliss Trophy. Judging took place in a number of regional rounds resulting in three finalists.

2010:

Overall winner, Winner of the Eight and Over category and awarded the Bliss Trophy: St Marks, Cheltenham
Commended: Painswick (also awarded the Chairman's Baldric)
Winner of the Upstairs Six category and awarded the "Littledean and Purton" Trophy: Lydiard Tregoze
Commended: Brislington and English Bicknor
Winner of the Ground Floor Six category and awarded the Great Peter Trophy: Great Rissington

2009:

Second Place and awarded the "Littledean and Purton" Trophy: English Bicknor
Third Place, Winner of the Eight and Over category, and awarded the Great Peter Trophy: Chippenham, St Andrew
Highly Commended and awarded the Chairman's Baldric: Much Marcle (Although Much Marcle tower is not in the G&B the band are almost all members of Forest Branch)
